Our approach to AI is simple: add it only where it’s useful, and never at the cost of your privacy or control. That’s why we’ve been thoughtful about how we bring AI to your finances. The new Money Assistant lets you ask questions about your finances right inside Copilot Money. Now, you can also securely link your data to the external AI tools you already use. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), this connector enables you to ask about your money in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Codex CLI the same way you’d ask about anything else.

The connector can reference your accounts, transactions, budgets, Recurrings, investments, and tags, so you get answers without manually copying numbers between apps.

Read-only

The connector has read-only access for now. Your AI tool can’t move money, change your accounts, or edit anything in Copilot Money. It can only review your data and answer questions about it.

Secure from the start

The connection uses OAuth, the same login standard banks use. Your Copilot Money credentials are never shared with the AI tool. You approve the connection, and you can remove it at any time.
