Earlier this year, we opened a beta for two new ways to put your financial data to work: the Money Assistant and the Copilot Money MCP. Today, both features are available to everyone.

Money Assistant (currently on iOS)

The Money Assistant is an AI agent built directly into Copilot Money. Your assistant works in the background to tidy up your transactions, notice when your spending changes, and line up suggestions on your Dashboard for you to approve. Learn more.

The assistant can take actions for you, like creating a new category or matching a refund. It checks with you before making any changes, and learns your priorities the more you use it.

You can also chat with the Money Assistant directly when you have a bigger question, like how to optimize your credit card usage or if you’re on track to retire. Ask for a visual and get a chart that illustrates your answer. Give it more context for your life and it will remember.

We also rebuilt the onboarding experience around the assistant, so new users get personalized insights and a starting budget the moment they connect their accounts.

To get started, update the app on your iPhone and turn on the Money Assistant from your Dashboard. More platforms are coming next. Learn more in our Help Center.

MCP

The MCP securely connects your Copilot Money account to AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask about your spending, budgets, and accounts like you’d ask about anything else. Learn more in our Help Center.
